In German I, students complete the introductory chapter and chapter 1-8 of the textbook.  The German I course closely follows the material presented in the text so that students havce wasy reference to information and learn grammar and vocabulary sequentially.  The text also spirals in regard to grammar, vocabulary, and cultural information.

Benchmark assessment tests = 20%
Homework/Quizzes = 30%
Participation and oral presentations = 30%
Teacher created chapter tests and projects = 20%
